The COUNTRY HIGH Dance Academy is an online learning platform for the global line dance community. It's a place where dancers can learn, grow, and connect. The Academy brings dancers together across countries, styles, and experience levels, creating a shared space for progress, quality, and community.
What distinguishes the Dance Academy from YouTube?
The Academy offers a clear learning system with curated dances across all levels and styles, with regular releases and a didactic structure that supports your development step by step. This includes a private community for dancers, a separate community for teachers, and updates on upcoming events, tickets, and planned live sessions.
How does the learning platform work?
The Academy is a growing digital online library. New content is added every week, allowing dancers to learn new dances. The classes are professionally pre-recorded and structured as clear walkthrough lessons that guide you step-by-step through the learning process.
How many new dances are released per week?
The academy typically releases five new dances per week.
What line dance styles are taught at the academy?
The academy focuses on three internationally recognized styles: Modern Line Dance, Traditional Country Line Dance, and Catalan Style.
Is the Academy also suitable for beginners?
Yes. The Academy is designed for dancers of all levels. Whether someone is just starting out or has years of experience, there is content that fits their respective level.
How are the dances selected for the Academy?
We choose the dances based on a balanced mix of community relevance, current trends, danceability, musicality, learning value, and their potential for growth within the scene.
Do you provide the stepsheets for the taught dances?
Yes. The stepsheet can be downloaded at the final step of the learning progress.
Will there be more free courses?
Yes. We will continue to add free courses within the Academy.
What level are the free courses?
The free courses include different levels. Each course is marked accordingly.
Are all trainings taught by Johnny Rossato?
For now, the Academy courses will be taught by Johnny Rossato. Workshops, Star Sessions, and further formats with guest choreographers are planned for the future.
Do I have to be a member of the Academy to attend COUNTRY HIGH events?
No. You can book events from COUNTRY HIGH separately at any time.
Are the shop and the academy related?
Both belong to the COUNTRY HIGH brand. However, access to the Academy works via a membership, which is managed through Digistore24 and LearningSuite. The shop is easily accessible via countryhigh.ch reachable
Getting Started & Access
Can I start without a membership?
Yes. With «The Free Taste,» you start for free and with the same structure as in the Academy. You still order this product via Digistore24 so that you get access to your personal LearningSuite profile and thus to the free dances.
Do I need to create a profile?
Yes. To access the Academy, you need your own profile. This applies to free access to «The Free Taste» as well as all paid memberships.
How does access work after purchase?
You choose «The Free Taste» or a membership of your choice and complete the purchase via Digistore24. After that, you will receive an email with your personal access link. You set your password in LearningSuite and will then be taken directly to your dashboard.
Will I get immediate access after purchase?
Yes. After the Digistore24 confirmation, you will receive an email from us with your login link. Then you set your password and can start right away.
How quickly will I get access after purchase?
Immediately after checkout at Digistore24. You will receive an email with your access and a link to set your password in LearningSuite. Then you log in and see your personal dashboard.
Where can I find my purchased content?
In your LearningSuite Dashboard. There you will see your active membership and all unlocked courses.
What is LearningSuite?
LearningSuite is the name of the online platform on which the Academy runs. There you will find your personal dashboard, your purchased content, and your next steps. You can also use LearningSuite as a mobile app. This way, you always have the Academy with you.
On which devices does the Academy work?
It works on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers with internet access.
Is the Academy also available as an app?
Yes. You can use LearningSuite as a mobile app and log in with the same login details.
Will my learning progress be saved?
Yes. Your progress is linked to your personal customer account.
Can I use my account on multiple devices?
Yes. You can use your account on different devices as long as you log in with your own profile.
Is it okay to share my account with someone else?

What is the difference between a bundle and a membership?
A membership provides ongoing access through a subscription and includes new releases depending on the plan. A bundle is a one-time purchase of a fixed content package or event access, without a subscription and without automatic renewal.
What memberships are there?
The Academy offers various access levels: The Free Taste, Rookie, Rising Star, Superstar, Legend, and Master.

How many new dances do I get with my membership?
Depending on your membership, you get access to 4, 8 or 20 new releases per month.
Where should I start?
If you want to learn, start with the Academy membership that suits you. If you want to dance live with us, then watch the next events an.
Which membership is right for me?
If you're restarting, choose Rookie. If you want to build steadily, choose Rising Star. If you want more variety, choose Superstar. If you want full intensity, choose Legend. If you are a Teacher, choose Master.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Yes, you can change your membership at any time. Upgrades are usually valid immediately, while downgrades take effect from the next billing period.
Can I upgrade or switch later?
Yes, you can upgrade to a higher membership at any time. If you want to test first, start with «The Free Taste» and upgrade as soon as you're ready.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Your account will remain active until the end of the paid period.
Do memberships renew automatically?
Yes, if you don't cancel, your membership will be automatically renewed.
What is the difference between monthly and annual memberships?
An annual membership gives you the same access as a monthly membership, but at a better overall price than if you pay for twelve months individually.
How long do I have access to the dances?
As long as you have an active membership and a customer account, you have access to all the content included in your membership.
Can I subscribe to only one style, for example, Catalan only?
No. The memberships are not separated by style. However, each dance is clearly labeled so you can easily focus on the style you want to train.
Styles & Levels
How do I know what style and level a dance is?
Each dance is clearly labeled with style and a level rating from 1 to 5 stars. The cover image also shows you the name of the dance and the level.
How are the tutorials structured?
Each course follows a clear learning logic and shows your progress within the course. For example, a phrased dance can be divided into Part A with steps, Part A with counts, Part B with steps and Part B with counts. Tags, bridges, repetitions and technical tips are shown separately if required.
Will I receive a new dance for my level every week?
Yes, each level is covered regularly, so you will always receive new dances suitable for your level.
Community, Teacher & Live Formats
Will there be a community area for members?
Yes, our community is one of the Academy's core values. Members can network, exchange ideas, celebrate progress, ask questions and become part of an international network.
Is there content specifically for teachers?
Yes, the Academy includes special master access for teachers and prospective teachers. In addition to access to the library, this level includes a Teacher Community and webinars on methodology, teaching skills and professional development.
Do I need to actively work as a teacher to join the Master community?
Yes. The ‚Master‘ membership is for teachers and aspiring teachers who want to deepen their teaching approach and network with other professionals in the line dance scene.
May teachers use Teacher Academy content in their own classes?
Yes. The platform is there to support teachers in their work. Instead of learning from videos of inconsistent quality, teachers in the Academy have direct access to high-quality material. They can learn on the platform and teach their own classes based on what they have learned.
Are there learning opportunities besides the dance videos?
Yes. In addition to the video library, the Academy also includes ‚Technique Sessions,‘ ‚Star Sessions‘ with international guest teachers, and personalized ‚1:1 Private Coaching Sessions‘ tailored to individual goals.
Will there be live online workshops?
Yes. Live online formats are part of the Academy's vision. These include special Star Sessions, guest teachers, and interactive moments beyond the regular pre-produced courses.
How do Star Sessions work?
Star Sessions are live sessions with special guests. They are included in the ‘Legend’ and ‘Master’ memberships. With other memberships, they can be booked individually through a ticket purchase.
Are Star Sessions recorded?
Star Sessions are conducted and recorded live. They will also remain accessible to members with ‘Legend’ and ‘Master’ memberships.
How do I participate after booking a Star Session?
After booking, you will receive an email with the Zoom link and information about the next steps. Save the appointment in your calendar. Please log into Zoom 15 minutes before the start so that we can admit you and resolve any potential technical issues.
Can I suggest dances or ideas?
Yes, absolutely. Because the Academy grows with its community. If there's a dance you love, a topic you'd like to explore further, or an idea for the future, we're always happy to hear it.
Do I have to use LearningSuite to participate?
No, online events take place on Zoom. You will receive your access after registration and payment (on Digistore24) via email to your registered email address.
What if I can't attend the appointment?
You see all the dates in the calendar, pay attention to that when you book your ticket. As a member of the Academy, you will have access to the video recording later.
Languages & Localization
In which languages is the Academy available?
Currently, the platform's functional interface texts are displayed in the language selected by the users. This means that navigation and core platform elements are already available in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish.
Some content within the platform is currently displayed in multiple languages. As a result, parts of the content may appear in mixed languages and seem less clear than intended. The teaching videos themselves are in English. Live sessions may also be conducted in different languages depending on the teacher.
A beta version with extended language localization is currently being tested. Once it is released, all written platform content will be published in the selected language. The teachings in the videos will remain in English.
Are there subtitles or language options within the courses?
Currently, the teachings are in English, and there are no subtitles within the courses at this time. Further language support may become possible in future development steps and with the help of AI.
Music
Where can I find the song for a choreography?
Every choreography includes a Spotify link to the music.
Can I download the music?
No. The music itself cannot be downloaded from the Academy. You can access it via the Spotify link provided in the course.
Tech & Support
Can I download the videos?
No. Videos are generally not available for download. Downloadable materials like sheets are clearly marked where they are available.
Which browsers are recommended?
The Academy is designed for use with common modern browsers. Since browser settings and device setups can vary from user to user, we recommend checking your own system in case of technical issues.
Can I watch the Academy on a smart TV?
That depends on your individual device and setup. Since technical environments vary, users must check compatibility on their own system.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
