What is the Country High Dance Academy?
The COUNTRY HIGH Dance Academy is an online learning platform dedicated to the global line dance community. It is more than just a collection of dance classes – it is designed as a digital home where dancers can learn, grow, exchange ideas, and stay inspired. The Academy connects dancers from different countries, styles, and experience levels, creating a shared environment where passion for line dance becomes a global community experience.
How does the learning platform work?
The Academy functions as a continuously growing digital library of line dance classes. Every week new content is released and added to the platform, ensuring that dancers always have fresh material to explore. The classes are professionally pre-recorded and carefully structured as walkthrough lessons, guiding students step by step through each dance in a clear and methodical way.
How many new classes are released each week?
Each week, the Academy releases five new dance classes. Two classes are designed for beginners and improvers, two are dedicated to intermediate dancers, and one is for advanced dancers who are looking for a greater technical challenge. This balanced structure ensures that dancers at every level can continue progressing while always having suitable material to work on.
What styles of line dance will be taught in the Academy?
The Academy embraces the diversity of the line dance world by offering three major styles that are widely danced internationally: Modern Line Dance, Traditional Country Line Dance and Catalan style. By exploring different styles, dancers can expand their technical vocabulary, experience new rhythms and flows, and develop a deeper understanding of movement and musicality.
Is the Academy suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. The Academy is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to dancers at every stage of their journey. Whether someone has just started dancing or already has years of experience, there will always be content adapted to their level. The goal is to make every dancer feel comfortable, supported and motivated to keep progressing step by step.
What kind of membership will be available?
The Academy offers several access levels so that dancers can choose the experience that best fits their needs. These memberships include Rookie, Rising Star, Superstar, Legend and Master. Each level unlocks different types of content, opportunities and learning experiences designed to support dancers as they progress in their journey.
Are there any other learning opportunities besides video classes?
Beyond the video library the Academy offers several complementary learning experiences. These include Technique Sessions, Star Sessions (featuring live classes with international guest teachers) and personalized 1:1 private coaching sessions tailored to the student’s goals. These opportunities allow dancers to deepen their knowledge and refine their technique in a more interactive way.
Is there content designed specifically for dance teachers?
Yes. The Academy includes a special Master access designed for teachers and aspiring instructors. In addition to full access to the video library, members in this tier can participate in a private community dedicated to teaching professionals. They also gain access to webinars and development sessions focused on teaching skills, methodology, and professional growth within the line dance world.
Will there be a community space also for other members?
Community is one of the core values of the Academy. Each membership level includes access to a shared community chat where dancers can celebrate their achievements, exchange ideas, ask questions and connect with other members who share the same passion. The goal is to build friendships and create a supportive international dance network.
In which languages will the Academy be available?
The platform will be accessible in multiple languages to make learning inclusive for dancers worldwide. The interface will be available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The classes themselves will be taught in English but captions and subtitles will be provided to ensure full understanding. Additionally, live guest sessions may be taught in different languages depending on the instructor.
